The story

1980

The principle

ALPHATECH's activity goes back to the distant 1980. Then the former manager, Mr. Karageevrekis Pelopidas (Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) founds the first company with a focus on studies and installations of innovative heating / water supply systems. He imports from Germany, the pioneer for the time and the market of Northern Greece, the underfloor heating system of THYSSEN-POLYMER. Since then, this system has been installed in hundreds of homes, schools, churches, hotels and other buildings throughout Greece, making the company a leader in advanced heating systems.

Upgrade - Cooperation HAKA GERODUR

ALPHATECH is upgraded with the increase of its share capital, and the entry of two more experienced executives, Mr. In the same year the company adopts the highest quality underfloor heating system HAKATHERM of the German-Swiss Haka-Gerodour, which it maintains exclusively until today!

2002

IVAR cooperation

The following years are a period of technological development for ALPHATECH, as it starts its cooperation with the Italian IVAR, distributing exclusively the company's range of innovative hydraulic systems, including advanced press fittings and energy class A thermostatic heads.

ATMOS cooperation

Continuing its recent rise, it takes over the exclusive representation of the Czech company ATMOS, and promotes for the first time in the Greek market the wood & pellet pyrolysis boilers!

Upward trend and Panasonic cooperation

Given the growing trend in the market for renewable energy, ALPHATECH starts the exclusive distribution of AQUAREA heat pumps from Panasonic Japan. This move is made with a view to continuing to provide integrated heating-cooling systems, given the excellent cooperation of heat pumps with floor heating. Air-to-water heat pumps and solar heat pumps are now priority items in ALPHATECH's activities.

New administration

After the retirement of the founder, the company now takes its current legal form ALPHATECH S.A.E.B.E. At the same time, the sons of the founder, Mr. Karageevrekis Stefanos (Mechanical Engineer, University of Thessaloniki) and Mr. Karageevrekis Athanasios (Electrical Engineer, University of Thessaloniki) take over as managing directors of the new company.

Cooperation Italtherm

Subsequently, the company's commercial activity experienced an unprecedented upward trend, exclusively importing and marketing many new innovative products in the Greek market. More specifically, it collaborates with the Italian company Italtherm and starts the exclusive import of the condensing gas boilers CITY CLASS & CITY OPEN, with electronic weather compensation and efficiency 108%

Expansion of cooperation with Panasonic

ALPHATECH expands its product range even further, developing its cooperation with Panasonic Japan, and now introduces the entire range of PANASONIC HEATING AND COOLING SOLUTIONS! This includes air conditioners of energy class A+++, fan-coil AC & EC and Chiller!
