WOOD FIRING BOILERS with integrated Cooling Loop
The boilers operate on the principle of fuel gasification in the upper storage chamber, where a glowing layer of high-temperature coal is formed. The heating of the wood causes the release of gaseous hydrocarbons. The fans force the mixture of hydrocarbons and air to pass through this glowing carbon layer. This causes perfect combustion and the creation of a flame in the lower chamber. The flow of air from top to bottom (unlike conventional woodburners) results in a gradual ignition of the wood and better control of the water temperature. When the desired water temperature is reached, the air flow stops in the upper chamber (wood storage), so there is no waste of fuel. This principle allows all types of wood to be burned with high efficiency (81-88%).
Reverse combustion and a ceramic combustion chamber allow perfect combustion with minimal emissions. The boilers comply with the requirements for environmentally friendly products according to the Directive No. 13/2002 of the Czech Ministry of Environment. They comply with the European Standard EN 303-5 and all boilers in the category 3, 4, 5, EKODESIGN 2015/1189.

The pyrolysis of the wood (reverse combustion) takes place in the lower chamber (flame chamber), where the flame is driven by the forced air movement caused by the suction fan.

Pyrolysis boilers DC 70-150 kW
The ATMOS DC 70S, DC 100, DC 105 S and DC 150 S ecological wood-fired pyrolysis boilers are designed for large houses, businesses and similar buildings. The boilers are designed exclusively for wood combustion. Combustion can be carried out with any wood, especially with wood sections 700 to 1000 mm long and 80 to 150 mm in diameter, depending on the type of boiler. It is possible to use larger diameter timber in the form of large blocks, which slightly reduces the nominal output of the boiler but significantly extends the combustion time. The boilers are designed to additionally burn sawdust and small-sized wood waste in a ratio of 10%. It consists of spacious chambers, resulting in savings in time and effort for the end user.
ATMOS boilers must be connected via the LADDOMAT 22 or ESBE thermostatic control valve to maintain the minimum return water temperature in the boiler at 65°C. The boiler water inlet temperature must be permanently maintained between 80 - 90°C. The default configuration of all boilers includes a cooling circuit to prevent overheating. We recommend the installation of boilers with buffer tanks.
All ATMOS boilers are certified in testing laboratories for their countries of destination: State Testing Laboratory Brno, TÜV Munich - Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary in accordance with the applicable standards - EN 303-5.

The power is controlled by a safety valve operated by the immersion regulator, type FR 124, which automatically opens or closes the safety valve according to a set water outlet temperature (80 - 90°C). When setting the power regulator, great care must be taken because the regulator has another important function besides power regulation - it also protects the boiler from overheating. A control thermostat located on the boiler panel regulates the fan according to a set temperature (75 - 85°C). The temperature on the control thermostat should be set 5°C lower, not on the FR 124 regulator.
The boiler operates at reduced power even without a fan - heating is not lost when the electricity fails (blackout). With up to 70 percent of its rated power, the boiler can operate without a fan.

The compensation controller is equipped with functions for managing the operation of the boiler (ventilator), the pump in the boiler circuit, two heating circuits, operating water heating and solar heating management.
The panel design with integrated electronic control ACD 01 is produced as a variant for DC25S, DC32S, DC25GS boilers.
Each boiler can be equipped in its final position with an ATMOS ACD 01 electronic controller for the management of the entire heating system, depending on the external and room temperatures. The boiler itself can also manage this setting through a ventilator with many other functions.
